The poll result shows Pedem's generic candidate at 33.3%, with a 13.3 point gap from DPP and the Lemonists. Next, then we find the Republican generic candidate at 13.3% and the Orthodox Conservative Bloc at 6.7. Currently, no one has formalized their candidacy, but probably a hypothetical Pedem candidate would go to the ballot with a DPP candidate or with a Lemonist candidate. The president in office (PEDEM) has not yet formalized the candidacy and according to internal sources the Republican Party intends to call a primary election to decide the candidate for president.
  • The poll shows that the prime minister and his cabinet enjoy a 73.3% approval (40% very positive, 33.3% positive). Instead, 20% declare indecision and only 6.7 rate negatively the work of the prime minister and his government.
The third question in the survey was about LGBT rights and Article 14 of the constitution (which recognizes LGBT rights as human rights). 60% of the respondents said they have a positive opinion (40% very positive, 20% positive), 33.3% do not have an opinion, while 6.7% have a very bad opinion.
The fourth question in the survey is an interesting one and concerns ministers. In this question most people (by far) said they most trust Prime Minister Carpentieri of PEDEM who was favoured by 46.7% of the respondents, this could be because he is the most well known to the public or it could be due to his active and open way of governing the nation. John Lakes of Democratic Progress and Belcity of PEDEM came in joined second place alongside none with 13.3% of votes. Next came Mr President of PEDEM who is the president of pinang, hence his name, with 6.7% approval, he was in joined third place alongside Marino of PEDEM. Lastly came Jan Stastny of PDR and goose of PEDEM with 0% each. This poll shows us that most ministers either aren’t very popular or well known except for prime minister Esty.
The fifth question concerned the approval rate of People's Democracy. People's Democracy is currently the first party in the polls, is currently the government and is known for its positions based on democratic socialism. 40% said they had a very positive opinion on Pedem, 13.3% a positive opinion. In total, 53.3% have a good opinion of Pedem, showing that the party is esteemed and respected by other parties as well. 40% don't know, while only 6.7% have a very negative opinion about PEDEM.
The last question in the survey was about the economy, 42.9% of respondents felt that the nation should adopt a capitalist economy, far more than any other category but not a majority, in second place 35.7% of people felt socialism was the best type of economy for pinang and far behind both of these were Keynesian/social democratic at 14.3% and distributist at 7.1%. Perhaps this was because capitalism and socialism are by far the most well known.
